Dear Team—
I understand you all just completed your gathering - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the good news. Previously I shared you all a note, I expressed the following: “I believe in this group. You all are some of the most driven and creative creators we have had the pleasure to collaborate with - and we’re excited for that relationship to continue.”
With your dedication and flexibility, especially over the past twelve months, you repeatedly show that.
The gamer responses from last fall’s Project ETHOS demo was informative. It affirmed the potential of a action-packed game but told us we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the requirement for a sharper vision.
It has been motivating to see how far you’ve advanced. You embraced the input to heart and overhauled the title with a renewed goal - one that’s poised to achieve its promise to our audience.
The trust in this project grows every day. To advance the remarkable development you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Studio Head of the team. Following a period of conversations, he starts with us on Monday, October 20.
His management and experience in the competitive gaming space is extensive, having spent the past decade and a half developing and leading some of the most popular titles in gaming, including Call of Duty: Black Ops, and lately, the battle royale hit.
Please join me in welcoming Ben soon. We are all excited to keep seeing the evolution of Project ETHOS in the time to come.
David
